Brenda DeRouen is the founder and managing partner of DeRouen Law Firm, PLLC. She has a passion for helping families get through tough situations and believes that a well-planned strategic approach is key to any case.
Attorney DeRouen has first-chair trial experience and has successfully handled custody and divorce matters. She was named 2021's Rising Star by Super Lawyers, 2018-2020 Top Lawyer by Houstonia Magazine, Top 40 under 40 by the National Association of Black Attorneys, and was awarded AVVO’s Client’s Choice award in 2019 and 2020 for family law.

Stephanie Razo is a native of Robstown, Texas who was born of Mexican immigrants. Stephanie graduated Robstown High School and pursued a dual degree at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.
She pursued her legal education on an academic-based scholarship at Texas Southern University- Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Throughout her undergraduate and professional education, Stephanie interned with a criminal and family law firm, a veteran non-profit organization, the Attorney General's office, and served as a board member for numerous organizations at Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
Raveen is an excellent family law attorney who believes in cultivating a transparent and honest attorney-client relationship. She discovered her passion for family law after working as a student attorney at the Advanced Family Law Legal Clinic at South Texas College of Law. During her clinic, she represented clients in family law matters such as divorce, child custody, child support, and termination of parental rights. Prior to joining DeRouen Law Firm, McMeans worked with other family law firms as well as the Texas Attorney General.
It is her belief that a client should be represented in their best and most

Outside of work and school, Michelle enjoys spending time with her friends and family, playing arcade games, or horseback riding!
With over 20 years of experience as a paralegal, Carmen Kyle uses her considerable multitasking skills and customer service experience to help families in transition by providing detailed support to the attorneys and her clients. From complex litigation cases to simple uncontested divorces, she is involved from beginning to end.
Carmen assists clients by providing regular contact and updates, managing the discovery process, maintaining the case calendar and deadlines, and drafting pleadings and letters. She is integral in preparing for mediations, late case evaluations, hearings, and trials. She has a passion for what she does and our clients enjoy working with her.
Outside of work, Carmen enjoys spending time with her super smart husband, Russell, their family, friends, her tween son, Logan, and their two fur babies - a Pomeranian named Eleven (yes, named after Stranger Things character) and a Chiweenie named Amy.
