Brenda G. DeRouen
Managing Partner
Brenda DeRouen is the founder and managing partner of DeRouen Law Firm, PLLC. She has a passion for helping families get through tough situations and believes that a well-planned strategic approach is key to any case.
Attorney DeRouen has first-chair trial experience and has successfully handled custody and divorce matters. She was named 2021's Rising Star by Super Lawyers, 2018-2020 Top Lawyer by Houstonia Magazine, Top 40 under 40 by the National Association of Black Attorneys, and was awarded AVVO’s Client’s Choice award in 2019 and 2020 for family law.

Stephanie Razo
Attorney
Stephanie Razo is a native of Robstown, Texas who was born of Mexican immigrants. Stephanie graduated Robstown High School and pursued a dual degree at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.
She pursued her legal education on an academic-based scholarship at Texas Southern University- Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Throughout her undergraduate and professional education, Stephanie interned with a criminal and family law firm, a veteran non-profit organization, the Attorney General's office, and served as a board member for numerous organizations at Thurgood Marshall School of Law.

Sydney Paul
Legal Assistant
Syndey Paul has a bachelor's degree in political science from Texas State University. She assists in client intake, fact investigation, calendaring, discovery, document production, and coordinating mediations. She is pleased to help clients who are often struggling with difficult situations to achieve real-world solutions. Her hobbies include going to the beach, watching basketball, and cooking.
